Ray Fesenmaier

Ray splits wood for therapy. He trained his dogs to respond to hand signals. His wife runs marathons. His 8-year old daughter spits nails.

Okay, that last one’s not true. But suffice to say, Ray Fesenmaier is one disciplined creative director/manager/strategic thinker/brand storyteller. He is the antithesis of a shoot-from-the-hip creative type. Think German engineering applied to contemporary, persuasive communication. Every detail thought out, the end goal always in mind, passionately driven to tighten and perfect.

You can see it in his work. As an idea-driven art director Ray dials in every layout, carefully composes every image. As a creative director he leads teams with clarity, insight and passion. And as an experienced marketing man living in our ever-evolving world he sees the big picture, digests the complexity, finds the most compelling narrative, then reaches confidently for the tools that work, from TV to Twitter.

These days, Ray is a creative/strategic consultant serving clients from Boston to Seattle. When not applying his skills to clients’ marketing problems, he can usually be found outdoors, kayaking, fly-fishing, hiking… You know, therapy stuff.
